Sunshine Drop
Throughout the year, the Summer Grace Foundation supports INOVA Children’s Hospital by delivering packages of toys & comfort/care items to children with cancer and other serious health conditions, as well packages of personal care products for their caregivers for emergency or unexpected hospital stays.
When Summer Grace was diagnosed with cancer at age 3, she was initially hospitalized for 10 consecutive days, but many pediatric oncology patients are hospitalized for months at a time!
Hospital stays can be scary, and children often miss the comfort and familiarity of home. Parents are often hoping for positive distractions to help their children cope.
We will always be grateful for the various organizations that supported Summer throughout her journey. We are so thankful for her continued health and for the opportunity to give back!
